Great question. I’d never use the word “recovered” in this context but in general, I’m much less impacted by my blocks. For reference, before I started practicing voluntary stuttering, I once went without heat/hot water for a few days bc I was so fearful of calling to have it addressed. Now, I work as a mental health provider for children, having to speak to multiple people daily, sometimes in very intense situations. During episodes of high personal stress of illness, I regress, like now. As long as I remind/force myself to keep practicing, I stay in a place of dramatic progress
