A big thing that helped me is that someone I interact with frequently and look up to also stutters. Also realizing that your fear of stuttering might not actually be solely a fear of stuttering. For example you might have some social anxiety, which also affects people who don’t stutter. Basically a good mindset to have is striving towards what you see as improvement in your entire self. Not just the part of you that stutters.
