I am in therapy with my University's CS&D clinic (the first one ever established in the US), so it's with graduate students training to be slp. We started with mindfulness and "light contacts." I am a little more comfortable stuttering in clinic so I am starting to learn modifications. It took me some time to feel comfortable talking about my stutter in the clinic and I still feel uneasy as discussing how my stutter impacts my social life and thoughts. I also had negative experiences with private clinics and elementary school slp, but as a 19 year old those experiences happened over a decade.
