This is kind of a paradox but it made me more eloquent and having a really big vocabulary in my first language. I read a lot my whole life, graduated psychology and am really good with written words. After years of hiding and avoiding certain words I have synonyms for so many words and phrases. I'm working on this now cause I want to show my stutter and stop hiding because it's too stressful and affecting my work in a bad way. I did also compensate by getting really confident and don't care what others think about me as a person or my choices and actions. I'm too busy worrying what they think about my speaking.
