How can I mitigate the anticipation before I speak

How can I mitigate the anticipation before I speak My stutters been getting so much better and I’m actually speaking quite fluently now. However, I have trouble not stuttering when I know I’m gonna have to say a certain word to someone that I know will be hard for me to say. It’s easy for me to say this word off the cuff in a convo, but when I’m anticipating having to say it I stutter.
