I came here to write this. Seriously, people — women, men, it doesn't matter — will respect you more if you own your stutter. It's mortifying, I know, but being yourself is so much more attractive. Women can practically smell when you're not being honest, even if it's about something you find embarrassing, and they'll likely think the worst (and the worst is far, far beyond a stutter). Owning your faults is really fucking sexy. It's been one of the hardest things for me, but it quickly pays off.
