Come the fuck on, don't go there. You stutter. Tha'ts fine. Most people don't give a shit after high school, and if they do they're probably fuckheads to begin with. Yes it sucks, but there's tons of worse shit that you could have, or could happen to you, in the scheme of things a stutter isn't something you should worry terribly much about. Fucking think about it, do you really judge people instantly off of shit like that? When you meet someone who's sick, or handicapped, or not as smart as you, or not as good at sports, or not as wealthy, or maybe just not as attractive as you are? Probably not, we tend to get to know people first, and the people who dont are shitty individuals who should be fucking drawn and quartered. If there's one thing iv'e learned living with a stutter, its that people really don't care at the end of the day, and its only fucking awkward if you make it. And you know what the mindfuck of all this is? If you continue with the mindset of "my stutter is whats holding me back" it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy. It becomes fucking true. You don't do shit, and you spend the rest of your life telling yourself "If only I didn't have this stutter id be happy/successful/notafuckinglooser" and you'd be right, because you might have gone to that interview, or asked that person out if ONLY YOU DIDN'T FUCKING STUTTER!!!11!!2ONETWO!! But its a fucking bullshit argument, because at the end of the day no-one worth your time is going to judge you based off of that, and the only one making shitty fucking decisions for you is you. I'm guessing that you're young, and you probably don't want to hear this again from some random internet stranger, but people get better. That said, this is your condition to live with, and tons of people do live happy, healthy, and successful lives all while dealing just fine. But they tend to own the condition, and they don't let it control them or their decisions. Sorry for all the cursing, but I hate to see people get down like this over something as feel free to PM me if you want to talk about it, and if you live in the NY metro area id be happy to introduce you to some stutterers in the professional world.
