Come on people, this is a great, high effort post and we need more posts like this in this sub with valid suggestions for overcoming our stuttering. A common thread in these suggestions is to “forget that you stutter”. In my experience (I’m in my late 40s now) that is the key. It’s why speech therapy is so successful in children, and why most of us don’t stutter when alone. As an adolescent / adult it’s not so easy to “forget” something, but I do think that being aware of our stutter is what makes us stutter. If you want to overcome your stutter, try to learn from people who have done it - and there are many. Everyone is different so some things will work and some won’t. Don’t give up if the first thing you try doesn’t work. Some people like me are slow learners and it takes many years to “figure it out”.
