You're absolutely right and I couldn't agree more with you! I went to therapy for my stutter and other stuff a few years ago and my therapist told me facing the problem was the best way to overcome it which is something I totally agree with. I called a store to order something as practice but stuttered like crazy and the other person told me to call again when I knew what I wanted then hung up on me and that destroyed any tiny bits of self-confidence I had left. Facing our fears is indeed the right thing to do but it's really hard.
