Don’t give up man, I know how you feel. I never even stuttered as a kid, my onset came on around the age of 17/18, I’m 21 now and it has still persisted with me to this day. Stuttering is so weird and complex, that’s why it’s so hard to find a cure for it. Just know it’s ok to stutter, it’s something we don’t necessarily really have control over. However, keep your head up man. It’s something that can be overcome. If you used to be fluent for some time, you can be fluent again. Try to analyze any changes that may have been going on in your life ever since your onset came about and see if you can make any changes. I recognized that my stutter didn’t come about until I became addicted to porn and masturbation, so I have cut that out of my life. Again, if you used to be fluent, you can absolutely be fluent again. Keep your head up
