I personally am a covert stutterer so I don't really stutter I'm just good at hiding it (until ofcourse it eventually pokes its head out) so I have never really had a bad experience at work other then typical avoidance behaviours. But I agree with your statement. I hate to play a 'victim' card especially nowadays, but for some people stuttering is seriously damaging their mental health and quality of life. It would be nice if it was recognized as a disability be ause it really is a disability. Not even to mention the negative mental health impacts the stutterer may face.
