i have trouble with words like 'eight' which start with that particular sound. might voice muscles clench up and am fine when alone. talking on phone or at a desk counter is tough. i think it's anxiety driven and feeds into itself which causes the muscle to tighten. for me, i have to 'own the pace of the convo', slow down, dictate the pace...
