It could also be ptsd from it - I experience that. I also have been in therapies just talking therapies and self exposure therapies etc. for the last 5 years which is the most helpful cuz then someone listens and it isn’t completely hopeless in that sense. One thing that’s really eye opening is seeing people with way way worse disabilities or accidents etc. Also hanging with friends who enjoy the same hobbies I found helps a lot too - I think I have genuine friends around me and my family is in ok health so maybe those are the reasons I feel a little less anxious? I’ve also learned to slowly accept it or at times in my life I could just tell myself ‘I don’t have time to worry about stuttering cuz of abcd on my plate’
