I went into a career in logistics and am now making more money than a lot of the other people in my company because my performance doesn’t rely on my voice all that much. I know a lot of advice with stuttering is to just accept it and live life as if you don’t stutter or whatever but I’d rather just work alone and not have to do the mental gymnastics required just to appear “normal”. Props to you for the job you do because it requires you to use your voice, it must be really frustrating.
