I stuttered in every alphabet when I was doing a teaching programme and the students still liked my teaching and gave me an award to remember them by. The people who dared try to make fun of me were terrified when I was about to pummel them and so never attempted to again. Just live your life, it sucks absolutely but it's weeded out a lot of fake interactions and friendships I'm sure you're aware of that.
