I struggle to summarise stuff like that whether verbally or in writing. It's like my brain can't easily put all those ideas into words. I could maybe write a 200 word summary in an hour or two because it would take that long to coalesce the ideas into comprehensible sentences. It's much easier if I am familiar with the material, I suppose because most of the coalescing of ideas has already happened.
