Its something we are all born with. Something is not how it should be in our brains. Nothing major just. Its not something that will dissapear or solutions for. The best way to deal with it is make your son comfortable with having it. I stutter and i studied acting and now i am in college for Psychology. I just tell people that i stutter and that they best keep eye contact and wait until he said it. I know its scary because you want the best for your son. I am so happy to see that so ya are already doing great. Just make sure he knows that it doesnt make him less then anyone else. A speech therapist can help with coping and controlling it the best he can. I wish you and your son all the best!!!!
