My dad used to stutter when he was 14-20 and he got rid of it, he told me he used to have bigger insecurities and things on his mind so he said it was frustrating sometimes but didn't rly pay attention to it much and after he had regular therapy the stuttering went a way by itself now he only stutters when hes tired or really stressed.
