Hi there. I was asked to do a reading at a large funeral a while ago and another time gave a presentation in university …I placed a passport photo of my beautiful daughter on the podium to remind myself of the wonder that she is, as I read and invariably blocked. I have used this photo in other situations to ground me, to remind me I am more than my stammering. It helps me a lot I must say…. Something else that I have found helpful and probably not at all what you would expect is reading Marcus Aurelius “Meditations”. Ancient wisdom from 2000 years ago. He talks about perspective in life, in particular cosmic perspective. I found it helpful to remind myself blocks (while historically upsetting and sometimes devastating) are but moments in time over the course of my life…there are many other moments that link my life together , such as the birth of my daughter and subsequent children after her…. And of course, practicing out loud is also a good idea. Practice, practice, practice. It can take the edge of anxiety Best of luck Keep us posted
