Jai Shree Ram bhai! I’m also a fellow stammerer, 22M, and I’ve had it since childhood—so I totally understand what you're going through. Engineering was a tough ride for me too; the past four years felt like hell especially Viva and Project Presentations 💀. Thankfully, I had some amazing friends who would often speak up for me when I couldn't. Because of that, and even now, I do feel dependent when it comes to speaking. Interviews were especially hard—many times, the moment interviewers noticed my stammer, I could sense they had already made up their minds to reject me. Fortunately, I landed an internship at a startup in Bangalore through a referral, and it's been going really well! My managers, colleagues, and seniors have all been incredibly understanding and supportive of my condition. Only one thing stung a little—on my very first day, the CEO told me that because of my stammer, I likely wouldn’t be placed on the client side. That means promotions and pay hikes might be off the table for now 🥲. Sab thik hojayega bhai, just be optimistic and have good friends.
