I've been there man. Maybe you should try counselling to help cope with the stress and gain a little acceptance. Even if being less stressed about it all the time doesn't improve your stutter. Still Stuttering without always being upset about it is a better life then being stressed about something that's not changing. speech therapy can teach you coping strategies not just ways to be more fluent. It's more important to be happier within yourself then to fix the stutter.
