I personally would advise on just doing it anyways. Most of the stutter comes for me when I'm literally dreading for it to happen. Think of it as Nacebo to an already big problem. Your stutter exists , I don't doubt that , but you're overthinking here. Just don't give a fuck. It's easier said than done , ik. If you never face your fears , you'll never cure yourself. After all it's your choice to be made fun of 6-7 times or be made fun of your whole life. I'm a fellow stutter and haven't cured it, at all and I'd have the same reaction as you're having so take all this with a pinch of salt. But I have recognised that facing your fears is the only way. Okay , hold on , I won't go so hard on you. If you are *really* anxious , then do it with just you and the teacher in the room. You're about to enter the *real* world now , and communication , atleast 1-1 communication is key in any sort of job really. You can't just bail out of every learning experience you're offered. Also , on a slightly unrelated note , inform the teacher beforehand about your stutter , so that she doesn't use it against you when grading.
