You don't need good speech to achieve those goals. Everyone has a "handicap", even people you might think are perfect and happy all the time. Some are physical, some mental. You are depressed about your handicap, and the person living next door to you is depressed about whatever they believe their handicap (or shortcoming) is. You have a stutter, but you may very well have positive attributes that most others do not. Everyone views their personal shortcoming as "the worst". Think well.
