I can't seem to explain a long story

I can't seem to explain a long story So, I have very mild stutter. I only stutter under pressure (presentation, public speech). Although, my stutter has gotten a lot better lately as I am feeling more and more confident. One thing that gets me to stutter a lot is when I have to explain a long story. Here is what happens. I am half way saying my first sentence but my brain is already thinking the second sentence. So what happens is i try to rush my first sentence and here is when I notice my stutter. One of my theory is, telling a story is a skill. However, as a stutter, I've never had a chance to practice this skill. When I was small, I avoided telling long story or even having conversation. So in a sense, I've never had a chance to ever tell stories to anybody. Anyways, that's just my theory. Anybody with a similar issue? EDIT: 3-4 sentences, I don't stutter at all (if I am speaking to a friend ofc, under high pressure this still causes some stutter). But for a long story, doesn't matter who it is.
