A lifelong battle... Hello everyone, glad to find a community like this of people who know what it's like to have a stutter. I was sent to speech therapy as a kid but I barely remember doing anything productive with the therapist. It's persisted ever since. Lately I've noticed my speech go downhill when I'm tired or my brain feels "fatigued". It's tough when I'm at work on the phone and I start developing speech blocks. I can't even say my company's name sometimes. Usually it's words with H, W or C/K sounds. It's embarrassing. My therapist considered it to be a root of anxiety but some days when I'm anxious it doesn't rear it's ugly head. Today I feel tired and thus it gets worse... Hope I can find some new insights or advice here!
