For me it's about how I react to a stutter. There are so many tricks that worked for me in short therm but later got so automated, that it is part of the problem by now. Most of my learned reactions to an stutter are counter protuctive. So the goal ist to learn productive responses. For instance, when my vocal cords are stuck, I always pushed with all I got to get them going. But it's so much better to lower the muscle tension in that region and try it again with less air pressure. Same goes with blocked airflow cause by the tongue ore by closed lips.
