I started speech therapy in elementary school, I think I went for 5-6 years total although I'm not 100% sure. As for why I stutter, that's a mystery to me. I've always wanted to know for sure why I have it. I've stuttered ever since I can remember talking. Luckily, as I've gotten older my fluency has improved enough where most people don't notice it too often.
