I don't know about accents but I tend to pronounce difficult words in a "weird" way and I don't mean like differently, just simple stuff like omitting some sounds to make a smother translations in the sentence. That being said, faking an accent, especially English, makes me much fluent but I don't do that a lot mainly because English is not my native language.
