Yes so I have bipolar disorder and some medication I’m on (lamotrigine) cause issues with word recall, but I’ve always had those issues sonce I was 5 or 6 so the meds just made it worse. We’ve been doing exercises to work on memory, word recall, & games to strengthen the part of the brain that manages that. The speech therapist was telling me that the area of the brain that manages word recall, memory, some problem solving and language are all in the same place. So the idea is you strengthen that area of the brain and things with speech improve.
