Checking in at 42. I stutter badly in almost every sentence on average. Sometimes I have physical ticks and my frantic word substitution makes the things I do manage to say sound weird. I'm also twice married and have 3 awesome kids. It's possible. You just have to be relentless and learn that it's better to talk and stutter than not talk at all. I'll still get full body cringes sometimes, but I keep taking my shot. For me it was all about attitude. You might have to work a little harder to make yourself valuable to employers and potential mates, but every good person or business out there is direly searching for more good people. The only real path through life you can't take is the person with very little skills and a lot of charisma. Don't count yourself out until you've had an amazing body for a few years and mastery of an in-demand job skill. I can't change my stutter, so I work doubly hard on the things I can change. The more I stutter, the more pushups I do. If you rewire your brain a little bit you can turn it into fuel. We have to work harder, but so much of life is still accessible. There are much worse disabilities. DMs are open if you need it.
