Anyone else have a customer facing job?

Anyone else have a customer facing job? I work a front desk of a recreational center at my college, so I spend most of the time answering phone calls and talking to people. I was absolutely terrified when I learned this would be my primary responsibility, but every day it gets a little less frightening, granted I still have some pretty bad talking days. Just curious if anyone else can relate.
