A good piece of advice for writing, is to have the ending thought out. Think about why you are writing the story and what you want to achieve. Who is the story for? Is it a story about your experiences? Or are you trying to make a character that embodies many peoples experiences? You may not even need to make your story fictional, it could be a memoir. I would read about a stuttering addict, I’m both of those things. Right now it sounds like you have a character (mostly). There is lots more for you to come up with and then execute. Start with something short maybe. Sometimes I write memoir chapters, about aspects of my life I want to get out of my head. I do not actually have a memoir I’m intending to do anything with. For me it’s more therapeutic than anything. If you go through with the idea, post some of it on here. Good luck.
