I am a 59 year old male and stuttered all my life until a year ago. I am now fluent. But I am here to answer your question. Do not tell anyone. Only 1 percent of the human race stutter. Most people do not notice unless you appear disable. If you tell someone that you are disable before actually meeting them, they will feel sorry for you. You don't want that to happen. Of course in school kids picked at me but as an adult, there were not many people who asked about my stutter and I was really bad.
