Lexapro (escitalopram) I've been prescribed 5mg of escitalopram to help with my stutter. The thing is, while I do experience anxiety because of my stutter, I don't think I have generalized anxiety. Because my stutter is the only think that makes me anxious tbh. So I'm worried about the long term effects of taking anti-anxiety medication just for the stuttering. Anyone here who's been or is in a similar situation? How did the medication affect you long term? And did it really help?
