Sorry you had to deal with terrible parenting. Having said that, I encourage you to embrace your stutter, and become comfortable with showing up authentically. Why? It’s counter intuitive, but the more confident you seem, the more attractive you look to others. Especially if you show confidence at the face of adversity, people tend to respect and admire that.
