More Interview Woes

More Interview Woes I'm feeling kind of low after getting rejected for yet another job today. I work in IT support and have good experience and industry certificates but I feel my stutter has prevented me from finding work time and time again. The only jobs I've gotten in the past were where the interviews were with technical people and very short (like 25 minutes) as I can control my stutter when I give short/direct answers. I usually struggle in long interviews (45+ minutes) where I have to give detailed answers and ironically I've never been offered a role where HR people were involved in the interview process. I'm not sure why that is though, but I kind of resent HR people because of it. The last couple of interviews that I had were via video chat and I find that medium intimidating and probably worse then a phone interview. The interviewers actually asked me if there was a fault with my connection as I was cutting out and missing words. I told them that I stutter, but mainly in interviews, as it's mild to moderate in normal situations, but they usually reassure me that it's okay but then try to rush the rest of the interview to wrap it up as soon as possible. I really don't know what to do, I know I'd be good at the roles that I apply for but I find it very difficult to prove to people that my stutter won't affect my work performance, it just usually falls on deaf ears and employers seem to put excellent, fluent communication above everything else that I bring to the table. It's so frustrating and disheartening. Anyway, thanks for reading and sorry for the long post, I just needed to get that off my chest :)
