Sometimes when I answer the phone and I'm trying to get the "hello" out, the other person just repeats their "hello? hellooo. Hello?!" and then hangs up. Right, when I can get my "hello" out is when they hang up. For me, before I answer the phone or start the call I take a deep breath and start trying to get the word out. By the time I click "answer," it only takes about 2 seconds to say the "hello." They only waited 2 sec but I was trying to get it out for more, Idk if that makes sense.
