Should I mention I have a stutter while trying to get a job? I'm going to try and get a job in fast foods because it's the only places in my area that I am old enough to work at, but I don't know if I should tell them I have a stutter while applying. It's not as severe as it use to be and I can be quite fluent as long as I don't think about what I want to say and if I do think about it I have to say it right away or think about something else before I say it. But when I do start stutter I usually have to talk really slowly, kinda forcing it out. I know is illegal to not hire someone based off a stutter because it is a disability, but if that happens I won't really have a way to prove it.
