I worked fast food as a teenager and since I was white and spoke English they always stuck me on the register even though I told them straight up I had a stutter. Since I was working at a Taco Bell and when I spoke Spanish I found I didn’t stutter so I learned a lot of Spanish and the customers seemed to like it when I’d repeat their order back in Spanish.
