Yea hearing this sucks. Stuttering is stressful on it's own when you have to get shit done that requires verbal communication. But then you have the added layer of poor awareness in society, which makes integrating into society even more difficult. Or to be accurate, it's the fact that people only know the colloquial term known as "stuttering" that they themselves do when they're in emotional turmoil. They don't know they speech disorder called stuttering. And they can't differentiate the two because to them, they both look the same. Even when you're having blocks lasting 30 seconds, they still can't recognise the speech disorder known as stuttering.
