OP is not "letting" anything. If you read their other post, you'll know he or she has has a severe stutter, has nevertheless gone to dozens of interviews to try to find a job and has never been called back. There's a point where it makes sense to do this. It doesn't mean you've "given up" or that you're gonna be on disability for the rest of your life.
