I don't know how severe your stutter but I would advice, if possible, to partake in the classes and practise the speech. Breathing exercises could help with keeping you calm. I stutter a lot when nervous (public speaking you know...). Trying to keep my nerves under control resulted in more fluent speech while public speaking. And since you are in University i presume that most of your classmates are adults and will not ridicule you for stuttering. Goodluck! 💪
