Hey, I’m really sorry that this happened to you. I’m 29 and I still get anxious at any job that means I have to speak to the public. Something I have found that I’m still working on but has changed a lot of things for the better is just to own it. Tell your manager, ideally before you started the job but now is fine, tell your co-workers if they ask, just tell people. 99% of people will be nicer when they understand and get past the ignorance phase, and the 1% will show themselves to be someone you don’t want to bother with. Therefore I think number 3 would be best. And you are NOT admitting that you cannot do the job. You are disclosing a disability that slightly changes the way in which you deliver your service (maybe taking slightly longer, repeating words). I hope things get better for you. Just remember that you’re not worse at your job for this. It’s something that I’m learning too but we’ll get there 👊
