SLP’s who specialize in dysfluency do generally know root causes. Everyone has some level of repetitions in early childhood. If you have a combination of : a - more impactful/frequent reps than average B - people around you sending the message that you talk weird C - more sensitivity to wanting to “talk right” Ultimately, I think most ppl who nearly eliminate blocks do it by getting real comfortable with letting others hear their repetitions.
