It’s the thought of someone watching you that gets to you I believe. I had to record myself reading an intro for this podcast I was in, and ran across the same problem. The way I got over it was to hit record and let it go without any interruptions so I can familiarize myself with that feeling of knowing this’ll be heard by others. After a little while I got comfortable with it recording me read and I ended up doing well actually. **TLDR**: Record yourself doing it nonstop until you feel comfortable being recorded, and then use the best take.
