I completely agree. It's practically impossible to talk to someone who doesn't want to listen, regardless of stuttering. I stutter more when someone isn't listening. It's often an indicator of someone who would rather talk than listen. I don't make it hard for myself by forcing it. It's more enjoyable to just chill out, even if I have things I'd like to say - without a listener it's like talking to a wall.
