Thanks for the reply! Whenever I catch myself with a block, I try to stop, inhale and try to go on, but this becomes harder for me to do the less familiar I am with the person who I am talking to. I just feel like it's hard for me to fully stop the conversation and take few seconds to breath. I might be too concerned about the reaction from others I get whenever I pause too long. My speech becomes horrible with new people I talk to as well. What is your insight on dealing with these psychological aspects of stuttering? It is like I tell myself I do not care what others think but I still subconsciously care, which fuels to my stuttering.
