Hey Saoirse, why don’t you try ditching the ‘s’ at the first attempt? I use that method here and there with my tough letters. For example, the next time someone asks for your name you can say “It’s eersha, seer-sha”. It takes some practice but once you have it at the back of your mind it will go easier. You can also try saying “it’s-ahhhh-seeersha” while using that ‘ahhh’ with no pausing, it’s just a glue between 2 words. My toughest letter is “h”, so I just don’t use it if I feel it’s going to mess up my speech. With other tough letters, that are not as silent as “h”, I remove them with the first attempt to avoid blocking and then repeat the whole word once again. (H)ope this (h)elps :)
