In your own words, what does approach-avoidance conflict imply? In my opinion: Approach and avoidance is like a pull-push. High expectations VS the need to hold back speech. So if the expectations and needs to hold back speech, don't match, at the time of speech execution. A cognitive conflict occurs (the subconsicous interprets the conflict as not being ready to say the syllable on the milli-second timeframe) \~\~ Your thoughts?
