introducing myself brings so much anxiety so i know how you feel. if im with my friends and i meet new people i tend to stand away and keep to myself, hoping they ignore me. like u/BlooddrunkBruce said, not starting with a word you stutter on will help avoid the stutter. for example, my names alfie if i was to say "alfie" by its self it would sound like "a-a-a-a-a-a-alfie". i get around this by either adding a sound right before my name, so ill say it like "mmmalfie" as smooth as possible to help with the fluency, or just "my names alfie". goodluck :)
